Locally owned and operated in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, we are passionate about harnessing the full potential of our garages. Often an under-utilized and “catch-all” area of the house, we believe that there are so many cool things that you can do with a clean, well-organized and professionally finished garage. Our goal is to provide complete custom garage makeovers to homes in the Denver area via industrial floor coatings, efficient garage cabinetry and organization, and anything else you can dream up.

Seeing the looks on the faces of you, our customers, after seeing a completed garage makes it all worthwhile. The garage is not only the entryway to your home, but an extension of it. We believe in open garages, kids playing outside and neighbors connecting and hanging out in their front yards enjoying the Colorado sunshine throughout the year.

The Owners

John and Sarah Hatfield

We started Custom Garage Solutions for a few reasons. First, we believe that life is just easier when you enjoy your home. There is a lot of pride that comes from keeping it clean and organized. Secondly, the garage is a cluttered and wasted space in many homes. Don’t let it become a dump station for all the toys and items you don’t want in the house! There is so much more potential for that space. We have a client who now has wine tastings in their garage every Thursday night. That garage is the place to be for every neighbor on that block…it’s pretty awesome! Finally, we want to help others elevate their house into a home they deserve. We all work hard, and whether it is in our home office, a downtown building or in multiple states any given week, we think everyone should come home to a garage space they want to simply use more efficiently and enjoy with their friends and family.

Meet the Team

John Hatfield

John and wife Sarah have two boys and enjoy cheering them on in baseball, lacrosse and all of their activities. Coming to Colorado from Arizona, John has over 20 years of professional management experience in the service industry prior to starting Custom Garage Solutions.
“I grew up in a construction family. Hatfield Construction LLC is a commercial/industrial builder in the Phoenix area and specializes in large tilt-concrete steel buildings. I started working on the job sites when I was 10 years old. Back then it was cleaning up trash on the perimeter of the job sites. After a couple years I received a promotion which meant that I was able to move inside and out of the sun (still picking up trash). You learn a lot from the guys you work with on job sites. It was obvious, even back then, the traits that were consistent with the people who excelled in their trade were the guys who planned well, prepped well and stayed clean/organized.”
Vinny Heredia

Originally from Mexico, Vinny has been a Colorado resident for over 20 years and loves the Denver weather and the Broncos! A proud father to his son, Vinny’s primary focus is always on his family.

Kyle Shakely

Kyle is a prior auto repair estimator who is currently in school for computer coding.

For years I've worked in commercial garages, but am excited to be a part of a team that transforms an otherwise cold space for your car into a real workshop. Having grown up in Colorado a garage has always been at the top of my "needs" list for storing my motorcycle, and having a space to tinker on my car or projects. I feel truly blessed to be a part of a homegrown Colorado business and being able to help build a truly special part of folks' homes. I love Colorado and GO AVS!"
Tanner Beck

Studying Construction Management at Colorado Mesa University, Tanner is a wonderful member of our team with a great future ahead of him.
